
Cafe Demo
Controller Input Only!
This is a demo build of Cafe, a coffee shop life sim.
There are a number of working systems but it is not at all complete, and has some bugs.
The first menu is the title screen where entering the door enters your game.
You begin in your room upstairs in the cafe. Interacting with the door in this room brings you into the cafe downstairs.
When in the cafe you can hold Y to open your shop up to start serving customers.
When customers are in the shop you can interact with your coffee equipment to:
- Take their order at the register
- Scoop the beans out of the bag
- Grind the beans in the grinder
- Bring the grounds to the coffee pot to brew coffee
- Pick up a cup at the cup rack
- Fill the cup with coffee at the coffee pot, with the empty cup
- Serve a customer waiting after their order has been taken
When done you can hold Y again to close the shop and again to dismiss all customers.
Generally you can open your shop and close it at any time.
Outside of the cafe is a WIP overworld with some streets to wander, a few buildings you can enter through their doors.
- Restaurant sells food to re-up energy
- Equipment shop sells new equipment (placing equipment is broken right now)
- Bean shop sells 15 beans a day
Known Issues:
- Interacting with the quick bar UI will cause the game to crash, thus placing equipment is broken.
- Entering Grandma's house in the overworld causes it to layer over the other open scenes.
